*** Narration / Speech  দুই প্রকার ; যথা -

1.      Direct Speech

2.      Indirect Speech

*** যা যা অব্যশই পরির্ব্তন করতে হবে :

Ø  Person পরির্ব্তন করতে হবে।

Ø  Verb পরির্ব্তন করতে হবে।

       *** Person পরির্ব্তন নিয়ম:

Ø  1^st person ব্ক্তা অনুসারে।

Ø  2^nd person শ্রোতা অনুসারে।

Ø  3^rd person এর কোন পরির্ব্তন হয় না।

     *** অন্যান্য যা যা পরির্ব্তন করতে হবে :

** প্রাথামিক কাজ :

Ø  বক্তা ও শ্রোতা র্নিবাচন।

Ø  Sentence র্নিবাচন।                                                                                                                                                                                                       

Ø Assertive Sentence ( Subject থাকলে ) এর ক্ষেত্রে ব্ক্তা + told + শ্রোতা + that + Sub + Verbএর কাজ।

Verbএর কাজ বলতে 

১. যদি Auxiliary Verb/ Main Verb থাকে তার পরির্ব্তন করতে হবে

২.Auxiliary Verb/ Main Verb  যদিV₁ এ থাকলে হবে। থাকলে Had + হবে।

                               উদাঃ The poor man said to me, “I am very hungry.”

                                       = The poor man told me that he was very hungry.

Ø Interrogative sentence  (? চিহ্ন থাকলে) এর ক্ষেত্রে         বক্তা + asked বসে, + শ্রোতা + if (Wh word না থাকলে) / “Wh” Word থাকলে (Wh থাকলে) বসে। + Sub + Sub + Verd এর কাজ।

 

Verb এর কাজ বলতে ১. যদি A.V থাকে তার পরির্ব্তন করতে হবে, সেক্ষেত্রে ‍যদি do/does থাকলে বাদ যাবে, +                  main verd এর ২য় রুপ হবে, did থাকলে বাদ যাবে এবং had + হবে। কিন্তু do not/don’t থাকলে did not হবে।

Did not / didn’t থাকলে had not + হবে ।

উদাঃ**The teacher said to me, “Have you completed your home work?”

= The teacher asked me if I had completed my home work.

**He said to me, “Did you go there?”

= He asked me if I had gone there.

 

Ø Imperative Sentence ( Sub না থাকলে / শুরুতে verb থাকলে) এর ক্ষেত্রে        বক্তা + Ordered (আদেশ), requested (অনুরোধ), advised (উপদেশ), forbade (নিষেধ), told (সাধারন) বসে, + শ্রোতা to + হয়।

উদাঃ **He said to me , “Please, do it now.”

= He requested me to do it then.

**Mother said to me, “Don`t run in the sun.”

=Mother forbade me to run in the sun.

 

Ø  Let’s / let us থাকলে        বক্তা + Suggested + শ্রোতা +

Ø শুধু Let থাকলে        বক্তা + told + শ্রোতা+ that + Subject( বক্তা অনুসারে) + might/might be allowed to+ V₁

Ø   Optative Sentence (শুরুতে may থাকলে) এর ক্ষেত্রে        বক্তা + wished বসে, + that + sub + .

o    ** Father said to me, “May you gain success in life.”

o    =Father wished me that I might gain success in life.

 

Ø Exclamatory Sentence (! চিহ্ন থাকলে) এর ক্ষেত্রে        বক্তা + exclaimed with joy( আনন্দ বুঝালে)/ exclaimed with sorrow( দুঃখ বুঝালে) exclaimed with wonder( আশ্চর্য বুঝালে) বসে, + that + sub + +very/great+ বাকি অংশ

Ø কাউকে সম্বোদন করলে Addressing as ........ হবে।

 

Example:  “Friends, come here” said Rana.

                                ≈ Addressing as friends Rana told to go there.

Ø Thank you থাকলে thanked হয়।

Ø  একটা বাক্যের পর assertive aentence থাকলে and also said that

Ø  একটা বাক্যের পর interrogative  aentence থাকলে and also asked  if/ wh word
