A Street Accident

A street accident is a buzzword today. It is taken place by buses, trucks, rickshaws, baby-taxies etc. It is increasing day by day. Many people die every year because of street accident.It occurs in urban areas. There are many causes of street accident. The reckless driving,narrow streets, unskilled drivers are also responsible for it. Drivers do not follow traffic rulesHowever, this problem should be solved by taking necessary steps. Traffic rules should be imposed strictly. Passers-by and drivers should be aware. Radio and television can play a vital role in this regard.

Mobile Phone/ Cell Phone

Mobile phone is an important via of communication. We can communicate within a short time. Mobile phone is a wonder of science.we can move it  easily from place to place. Today we cannot do a single day without it. At present, one can use internet  and communicate with the whole world. Through mobile phone, we can send messages , play games and sports. Mobile phone is also injurious to our health. So, we should be conscious in using it. The necessity of a mobile phone cannot be denied in the true sense of  our practical life.

Tree plantation

Tree plantation means planting trees more and more. Trees are very useful for us. They are our best friends. Trees give us shelter, food,wood, timber and oxygen. We get vitamins from fruits. They prevent  air pollution and floods. They help us in many ways. Human beings, birds, and animals are dependent on trees. We all should  trees more and more. We should raise awareness among the  people about tree plantation. People should plant treesmore .We have to plant trees beside roads,lands and empty spaces .Our government should take proper steps against them. Infact, trees are very essential for human’s existence.

                                                                                     Traffic Jam

Traffic jam is a common affair in our country. It occurs in big cities and towns. Our vehicles have increased but our roads have not increased. The drivers have little knowledge about traffic rules. Parking here and there and overtaking tendency are also the cause of occurring traffic jam. It brings great suffering to us. It kills our valuable time. We can not reach madrasha, college, office and hospital in time. Ambulance and fire brigade can not go hurry up due to traffic jam. The number of roads should be increased. Traffic rules should also be imposed with an iron hand. After doing all this things we can hope traffic jam free country and save our valuable time.

A good teacher

A teacher is an important person of a country.He/she is an asset to any country. He/she is the architect of a nation. A good teacher is a frien and guide to the students. He/she makes lessons interesting to them. He/she awakens the students. He/she makes them confident.He proves them clever. He/she discovers the hidden treasure in each student. He/she also wants them happy. He/she keeps them busy at school and at home. His/her general nature is also good. So, a good teacher should have necessary qualifications and professional training.

Importance of learning English

The necessity of learning English can never be ignored. It is an international language. We feel the necessity of learning English at every step of our life. English is badly needed. Most of the job facilities  depend on the knowledge of English. We cannot expect to get  good jobs without having good knowledge of English. It is also very essential for getting higher education.most of the book are written in English.Moreover, English Is a rich language. Most of the books of modern science and literature are written in English. We should, therefore, try our level best to acquire sufficient knowledge of English for both personal and national interests.

Deforestation

Deforestation means cutting down trees in large number. Today it has become a global problem. This problem is increasing day by day. There are many causes of deforestation. Population explosion is the main cause of deforestation. People use wood in different purposes. They make their house cutting down trees. As a result, trees are being cutting down rapidly. Deforestation causes global warming. It hampers ecological balance. Most of the animals have lost their living place due to deforestation. It has many bad effects on climate. Today our climate has changed drastically. The sea level is rising at an alarming rate. Effective measures should be taken by the government to stop deforestation. People must be aware about the bad effects of cutting trees.

Unity is strength

Once an old farmer had three sons. They could always quarrel with one another. One day the old farmer called his sons to bring some sticks and tied them in a bundle. He told them to break the bundle. They tried but could not break the bundle of the sticks. Then he told them to untie the bundle and gave a stick to sons and asked them to break it. Then all of them broke the stick easily. The farmer told them that if they would remain separate and quarreled with one another, the enemy would easily defeat them. But if they remained united like the bundle, they would be much stronger and the enemy could not do any harm to them. At this the three sons learnt a great lessons and began to live unitedly and happily

The result of greed.

Once a farmer lives in a village. He had a wonderful goose. The goose used to lay a golden egg everyday. The farmer would sell them in the market. So he was becoming rich day by day. But the farmer was very greedy.He thought that the belly of the goose was full of golden eggs. So he wanted to get all the eggs at a time in order to becoming rich overnight. One day he took his knife and cut the belly of the goose. But alas! There was no egg in the belly of the goose. The farmer became very sad. Thus he lost his valuable goose forever. 

Where there is a will, there is away

One summer day, a crow got very thirsty. It searched for water hither and thither. At last it saw a jar at a distance. It flew down to it. There was a little water at the bottom of the jar. But it was too low for the crow. The crow tried to upset the jar. But the crow was not too strong to do it. The crow was in a fix what to do.At last he hit upon a plan. He gathered rocks and put down it one by one into the jar.When it had dropped a large number of stones, the water in the jar rose high enough for him to reach it.Then the crow quenched its thirst drinking water to it’s heart content  and flew away with a joyful mind.

Honesty is the best policy

There lived a wood cutter in a village.but he was honest.One day he was cutting wood near a river.Suddenly,his axe fell into the river.The river was very deep.The wood cutter did not know how to swim or dive.So, he sat there sadly.Thena beautiful fairy appreared before the wood cutter.She asked him why he was crying.The wood cutter told her the whole incident.Then he took pity on him and told him to get his axe back. Saying this,the fairy went under the water of the river. After sometime she came back with a gold axe.She showed him it.But the wood cutter said that that one was not this.The fairy went undet water and brought an iron axe.The wood cutter became happy getting his lost axe back.

Grapes are sour

There was a fox. On a hot day he was walking through a garden He was very hungry. It was walking here and there in search of food. On the way in a vine yard, he saw some grapeswere hanging high up of the tree. The fox wanted to eat them. So, he jumped again and again to get the grapes. But he could not reach the grapes. He tried heart and soul but the grapes were beyond his reach. At last he gave up the hope of eating the grapes. He left the place saying–“Grapes are sour”.

Failure is the pillar of success.

Robert Bruce was a famous king. His kingdom was invaded by his enemies. He fought courageously but lost many battles. In order to save his life, he fled away from his kingdom and took shelter in a remote cave.The king was always in a pensive mood for his unhappy condition. Once he was lying in the cave. Suddenly he saw a spider trying hard to reach the ceiling of the cave. It failed again and again but did not lose heart. At last it became successful after many unsuccessful attempts. Seeing this, the king felt inspired to regain his kingdom. He then collected his soldiers and attacked his enemies again. This time his enemies were defeated and he regained his lost kingdom.

Hidden treasure.

Once there lived an old farmer lived in a village. He had four sons. They used to lead  an idle life. They did not  do any work. So he was unhappy.Oneday  he called his sons to his bed side and said, “My sons, I am going to die. I have laid a hidden treasure in the field.Hearing it the boys ran to the field at once. They dug all the field but found nothing. Then they said, “Since we have dug the field, we may plant some corn there.” So they planted the field with corn.In due time golden corn came out and the sons became happy.

A Fox without a Tail

Once there was a clever fox in a jungle. One day, when the fox was walking through a jungle, he fell into a trap. He could somehow get out of the trap, but he had to leave his tail behind. Without a tail, he looked strange and he felt sad. But the fox was very cunning and he hit upon a plan. He called a meeting. All of the animals came. Then the fox said, “My dear friends, listen to me, the tails of ours are useless. They look ugly and are always dirty. So, we should cut off our tails.”All the foxes listened to the cunning fox. One of the wise old foxes was also listening. He said, “My friend, your plan is very interesting but foolish. As you’ve lost your tail, you want us to cut off our tails.” At this, the fox without a tail felt ashamed and left the place quickly.

The lion and the mouse

 One day a lion was sleeping in a forest. At time a mouse was sleeping there. While playing the mouse by chance ran over the lions body. The lion became very angry. The lion woke up and caught the mouse under his paw. He was about to kill the mouse. The mouse repeatedly requested the lion that he might be able to help  someday. The lion took pity on it and allowed the mouse to go. A few days later the lion was caught in a trap. He roared aloud. The mouse heard the roar and run to the spot. The mouse cut the net into pieces with its teeth and set the lion free. The lion thanked the little mouse for his help at the time of need.

A friend in need is a friend in deed.

Once there were two friends.They lived in a certain village. They promised to help each other in danger. One day they were walking through a forest. They entered into a dense forest. Suddenly they saw a bear at a distance. The two friends became very afraid. One friend climbed up a tree. Other friend did not know how to climb a tree. He laid on ground and stopped his breathing. The bear put its head and smelt from his body. When the bear went away, another friend got down from the tree. He asked his friend what did the bear say in his ears. In reply, the friend said that the bear told him not to believe a friend who left a friend in danger. The second friend realized his wrong, and ashamed and finally begged pardon.
